Back in May 1969 I was a high school student and something big was happening. For the second time, men would leave Earth orbit and travel to the moon. There they would test out the Lunar Landing Module of the Apollo space craft in readiness for a landing in July. The images in this proof sheet are from the photographs that I took of our family black and white t.v. set as these events unfolded. They were preserved in a log book which I made and has survived 50 years. The proof sheet is reconstructed in PhotoShop and based on Ilford HP3 film stock which I used at the time. Output size is A3 (11.69 x 16.53) inches at 300 d.p.i. (Watermark removed).
